These Cuban children couldn’t be with their fathers on Father’s Day

These are the “Children of the 75,” whose fathers were sent to jail by the totalitarian regime in Cuba during Cuba’s “Black Spring” of 2003.

Their crime? Wanting a country where they and their children could live in peace; could say what they want; could choose their own leaders; didn’t have to be second class citizens in their own country; where human rights would be respected.

But wanting those things is considered a crime by the fascist regime in Cuba.

This photo is part of a postcard that they sent to their imprisoned fathers.
